Welcome back! This begins Issue #4 and I actually thought to write some sort of transition from the opening of this issue until we go back to the boys at Concord. Don’t worry, it won’t be long.
Also, guess what happens in two weeks on the 18th? It’ll mark ONE WHOLE YEAR this comic has been online! Time sure flies by when you stay up until 3 am making comics everyday.
*o*
This is such an all around beautifully made page~<3
Everything looks so pretty and soft and full of emotion~!
Well, happy (almost) one year anniversary Tina! I hope you and this comic are together for a long time to come~<3
xD
Hehe, thank you! I’m not going to “break up” with this comic anytime soon.
Wow it sure was worth the wait :3 can’t wait to see what happens next.
Thanks! I hope people find the next page amusing. I realize I’m starting slow here.
Happy almost one-year! This page is beautiful! I love the between the harsh colors of the previous scene and the pastels here. :)
Thank you!
I wanted to make this page softer than the last. Thought it would give the effect of slowing down a bit before this issue kicks into battle mode.
Aw, the general looks tired in that last panel.
Happy Almost Birthday! Make a cake for yourself, or bully a friend into doing it for you!
Poor Gage asleep on his desk. I wonder what she’s going to do to him…
And, oh, I’ll definitely have to have someone to make me a cake or something. I can’t bake for shit! Hehehe…
Has their been any time lapse since the Third Issue?
No. It’s happening at about the same time as the previous page.
I love that wallpaper in panel 4. The Gage’s have some nice interiors. ;)
I really like the slower pacing and storytelling. I think it helps add contrast to the goofiness that comes from Paul and Co. Also, the characters get a lot of dimensionality (hah that’s probably not a word) from slower paced pages like these. Those last 2 panels are AWESOME, and I want to see more stuff like this!
Can’t wait to see these characters grow and develop!
It is in fact a word! Hoorah!
Yay! Thanks for confirming it for me. It’s good to know that I’ve retained some sort of credible vocabulary from school.
Thanks! :D
I need to remind myself a lot to SLOW DOWN when I write these pages. I usually tend to try and fit in as many weird or funny things as I can. It’s getting kind of crowded.
I’m glad that you like this page! I really feel for the historical people I based these characters off of. Gage always seems sad to me and that’s what I’m trying to do in this issue with him. Hope it works out.
It will. And it will be awesome. XD
I feel so bad for Marge here T_T
Oh dang, I finally got caught up on your webcomic. Apparently I had friended your DeviantArt but didn’t link to your comic so I had forgotten about it until now when I decided to clear out all the accumulated messages and junk.
I love how you take the anime style and just completely make it your own (especially the deviation from the usual little upside v nose shape to something like Warren’s bulbous nose, lol)
Um but yeah, keep up the good work!
