Next Update: Friday, September 10.

As I’ve mentioned on Twitter, I’m changing this comic to one update a week instead of two. It’s been really hard for me to keep up with two pages a week lately. In addition to my full time job and 2 hour commute each day there really isn’t a lot of time to put the effort in that I want to make the comic pages awesome while getting more than 4 hours of sleep a night. I also don’t have any time to do all the extra artwork that I want to do for the comic.

So, I’m going to go back to one update a week, on Fridays, for a couple months with the hope of eventually getting back to two updates a week. I hate to do this, but I need to be able to get back on a normal sleeping schedule and produce pages that I’m 100% happy with.

There’s also a new vote incentive up.

ALSO: If you’re anywhere near Long Branch, NJ on Sunday (Sept 5th), come see me at The Brighton Bar! I’ll be selling comics and there will be some awesome music. Also, I hear there is cheap beer if that’s your thing. I promise to not slap it out of your hand like I will do to my boyfriend. Serious.

Sorry. Every like 7 weeks or so my terrible sleep schedule catches up with me, rendering me useless for like a whole week. 4 hours of sleep is not enough, kids! The new page is 100% sketched, so I am making progress, but I’m in zombie mode which is really slow.

Yeah, so Gage had more than 2 kids. They’re all out back playing/setting ants on fire/getting college educations so I wouldn’t have to draw them.

Be sure to check out the new vote incentive. It’s the first sketch I did of Gage’s kids. I changed the boy’s face because my awful boyfriend said he looked “like Johnny on PCP” or some shit like that. I tried to make him look younger in the comic page.

Last page of Issue #4! Come back on Tuesday to see the first page of Issue #5 and we’ll see what’s happening in Boston and see that vein on Gage’s head throb when he gets mad. I’m sure it happens.

Next update will be the last page of Issue #4! I’m not going to be posting an update on Tuesday, but I’ll have it ready for Friday! I’m bringing my sketchbook for my mini-vacay this weekend and doing some more planning for issue #5 so that there is no break between issues. I’m getting really excited about the next issue!

If you missed the update on Saturday, you’ll notice now that there is a new header banner and navigation buttons on the top of the site! Thought it was about time to switch out some artwork around here. I’ll also be updating sections of the site a little at a time, redoing some graphics here and there and adding some new content.

Also, in the big news, the site’s online store was totally revamped and I added a bunch of items many of you have been asking for, including issues 2 and 3, posters and buttons! Take a look at the new store and let me know what you think! It’s already doing better than the old, embarrassing store page.
