I’ve been working on some freebie items to promote this comic when I go to Anime Boston in a couple weeks. One of the items I will be giving away will be buttons of the characters (probably Paul, Benedict and Snickerdoodle) as well as band name buttons. You can see what I came up with so far for the band buttons as this week’s vote incentive. They were a lot of fun to make.
In other news, I got really sick this week (still am) and haven’t had time to even START this Friday’s page. Instead of rushing it, the page will probably be posted Saturday afternoon or something. I will let you all know in a comic post on Friday what the deal is.

Ok, I’m liking the layout of the band buttons, but the font just doesn’t necessarily say “punk” to me, ya know? cursive does NOT equal punk…its too proper, too frilly.
and in “The Paul Reveres” there should totally be an Anarchy-A in “Paul.” Just sayin’.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I’m keeping the “Paul Reveres” one just because that’s they way it’s on the site already. Paul’s kind of a frilly girl anyway. XD
Haha, although, I could do a “Paul Reveres” button that is different from the comic logo thing… which would be cool. I was thinking putting the anarchy-a in the title would be too much, but I guess that’s the point.
With the Union Jack-Off’s button, I think the font may be off. Something’s bugging me about it. I haven’t printed the buttons or anything. Those pics are just what I was working on at the time. I’ll think about it tomorrow to see if I can get a better font.
