Okay, so it’s July 5th and not the 4th, but that’s the way things work around here! u.u;; I’ve never been able to do an Independence Day special update before and I thought it was about time!

I don’t think Benedict is doing it right…

      I was showing this to my dad while I was working on it and he said about Johnny, “Why’s he gotta be like that?”

      This picture is supposed to be modern times, I suppose… with the grill and the cokes and the outfits. It’s fun to do sometimes, although hard to tell in this comic a lot.

      My boyfriend was like, “You purposefully put them in the most annoying, stereotypical punk clothes you could think of, didn’t you?”

      I replied, “Yes.”

    while there’s no british holiday on the 5th, some memorable events for britian occured on that day:
    – 1813: The British hold raids on American Cities for 3 weeks during the War of 1812
    – 1865: The Salvation Army is Founded in London’s East End
    – 1948: The National Health Service Acts creates the first public health care in the UK
    – 1954: The BBC broadcasts its first news bulletin

    elsewhere in the world, the 5th has given us
    – 1937: Spam First Sold
    – 1946: First Bikinis go on sale
    – 1996: Dolly the Sheep becomes the first cloned mammal

    so look on the bright side, bennyteddy has the right idea! there are plenty of things to celebrate on the 5th! ^^ (thanks wikipedia for all this info and for sending me on a 4-5 hour wiki walk >>;; )

    also, johnny would never be johnny without the creepy. though he’s looking creepier than usual today. .___.
    willie’s also looking more parenty here, but not looking particularly psyched about it. eh, he IS the most mature, and it seems like he’d be the least likely to burn the picture down with the grill. :3

    i hope your fourth went better than mine. did you blow anything up? :3
