Wasn’t sure how that last panel would go over. Kind of arrogant humor, I suppose. Mainly it’s my own personal outlook on the way I live my life… but you already knew that.
Thanks man! :D It’s kinda silly. And hopefully, one of these days, Toby will have something to bring up in conversation that’s not about food. Man has priorities. I’m thinking the same thing right now.
“Dead leg!”
That made me laugh more than it probably should have. My dad has always had a thing for (gently) kicking people in the back of the knee when they’re standing. But instead of “dead leg”, he’d say “you huuungry.” (when you put most of your weight on one leg while standing, you’d have to catch yourself so it looked a bit like you were fainting) I thought it was funny :P
“Dead Leg” is essentially gently pushing on the back of someone’s knee they’re putting most of their weight on. Makes the leg give away and it’s a weird feeling. I do this all the time. I don’t have friends anymore.
Must be a regional thing? Like when I ask for “jimmies” on my ice cream any other place that isn’t New England and everyone looks at me like I’m a crazy. I think it’s called different things other places or it’s some jackass thing people do the kind, respectable people don’t know of.
And what are Jimmies? Can’t say I’ve heard of that term before. My friend uses the word “pop” instead of “soda” though… maybe that is a regional thing too?
@yellow: “pop” can be a regional thing. my relatives in canada call soda that. xD
and “jimmies” is an archaic name for sprinkles. :3
@tina: love the comic this week. paul shouldn’t get down in himself. anyone who can look that strangely epic in an oil painting should NEVER be down in himself. -w- (and if you don’t know what i’m talking about, take a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts in boston, they have this oil painting of Paul Revere there that looks like it STARES INTO YOUR SOUL. O_______O; )
and of course Toby’s hungry! it’s been a long day for them, hasn’t it? xD
XD Dead leg!
Last panel is hilariously awesome. :D

LOL! Your dad is hilarious! I love doing that to people. It’s so jarring and such an asshole move. FUN TIMES.
A bit confused…what is “dead leg”? Didn’t really get the joke.
Last panel is awesome. They always do things right!

Glad you liked the last panel though!
The last panel is full of epic. =P

Kari is right. Jimmies are sprinkles. Try ordering Jimmies sometime not in New England and just watch the confusion.
Totally awkward.

I can’t even remember the last time I’ve been to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Would like to see me some Paul Revere though.
